Storytime!!

So, a while ago, I drew a sketch of a guy who looked rather bitter. The drawing was okay, but what I loved about it is that I managed to infuse a personality and a story into a facial expression. At the heart of comics is telling a HUGE amount of story through a SMALL amount of drawing. Thus, I feel like this drawing has accomplished this.

Anyhoo, I have yet to actually create something for this guy. So, over the next few days, I'll just make up what comes to mind. And at some point, I will write a story about him.
'Til next time!

Writer's Block doesn't exist...

...but lazy creative minds do. Which is why I'm not thinking of anything new or different to say.

But I like posting anyway. I think I'm too laid-back to post some kind of rant or opinion every week. Even the things I'm passionate about I don't really feel like writing about. I just say it. Takes less effort. Also, less chance of snarky remarks over a period of weeks.

I'm thinking I'll post my own artwork on this thing, works in progress, etc. We'll see.

Here's something cool!

A while ago I commented on how in superhero movies they only show the cool-looking parts of a superhero life (exception: Spider-Man 1 or 2, in the elevator. That was awesome). You never see Batman having to park the Batmobile, or Captain America having to take a quick breather while he's running 20 freaking blocks to stop the Red Skull.
